Alabama is Issuing Gay Marriage Licenses Again
Despite what a state supreme court justice tried telling the State of Alabama, gay marriage licenses are once again being issued. Apparently the justice didn’t clearly understand the federal supreme court ruling but things are back to normal now.
Officials in Alabama’s Mobile County say marriage license operations have resumed despite an order from state Supreme Court Chief Justice Roy Moore saying judges have a “ministerial duty” not to issue licenses to gay couples.
So to all of you that were planning on tying the knot in Alabama, not to worry because gay marriage licenses are once again being issued.
